Course Description: This course is designed to introduce students in grades 6 to 8 to the fascinating world of robotics. Through hands-on activities, interactive lessons, and practical projects, students will learn about the fundamentals of robotics, including mechanical design, electronics, programming, and problem-solving skills. They will explore various types of robots, their applications in real life, and gain an understanding of the principles behind their operation.

Study Plan:

Day 1: Introduction to Robotics

• Overview of robotics and its significance in modern society
• Historical developments in robotics
• Discussion on the different types of robots and their applications

Day 2: Basics of Electronics and Mechanics

• Introduction to basic electronics components (e.g., resistors, capacitors, LEDs)
• Understanding circuits and breadboarding
• Basics of mechanical design: gears, motors, wheels, and joints

Day 3: Introduction to Programming for Robotics

• Introduction to programming concepts using block-based languages like Scratch or Blockly
• Basics of robot control: movement, sensing, and interaction
• Hands-on activities programming simple robot behaviors

Day 4: Building and Programming Robots

• Guided projects building simple robots using robotics kits or recycled materials
• Introduction to sensors and actuators: ultrasonic sensors, line-following sensors, servo motors
• Hands-on activities integrating sensors and actuators into robot designs

Day 5: Applications of Robotics
